LOOOOOOOOOVING DESIGN

So...here I am...at my desk...4 hours after the program has ended...and i am listenting to some clubbing music...and I am working on a client's corporate identity.

The project is a fashion new entry...a high end brand...and i have some looooovely design proposals....

There is something inside me... maybe it is the music...maybe the passion for the design but maaaan I feel happy.

Promise I'll post the final design here

Something cool: my first brainstorm session.

Some client (big one) asked us to come up with something reaaaaaaly creative.
So...we've done it by the book...we've brainstormed our ideas.

He he...altough I have lots and lots of work to do...Although I have 13 exams..I am happy...
I sleep 3-4 hrs a night...i am stressed...i haven't went to taekwondo practice for about 2 weeks..I am happy.

I am happy becouse a I amde up with my girlfriend...we are back together and I the mornings, nights and days are so sweet..just like they used to be. Love ya baby...

This is the title of a melody on Santana's album. It features Citizen Cope.The melody is so sad..so blue...like my soul right now.

I've said goodbye to the only girl I've ever said "I love you".I thought it would be easy...I thought i would feel free...myself...happy.I was wrong...I can't believe it is so hard...That pain in your chest, the feelings that tourment the heart and the sleep, the need for solitude and at the same time affection.

But we've said our goodbyes..and that's it...I've made this to express my feelings in a graphic way...

Why do we work on monday

What is it with this day...I just can't do anything right...No creativity, no productivity...

I think that Monday should be part of the weekend.
And I could sleep all day.
And I could go skating...or smth...to enhance creativity.

There is however another problem with this thing.If monday would be a day off than Tuesday would be just like Monday.And we would have the same problem...

Probably the best way to solve this problem is to stop working...and have a continuus week end. Cool, right?

I am drowning in updates

Ever felt like you are not using your creativity enough while working?
Ever felt like you are stuck doing the small things ... as a designer I mean.

I am stuck in doing a lot of updating work for some webdesign projects and have no more time for creation.

I feel a little frustrated that I have to do a lot of fast work, I cannot concentrate on details and I don't feel proud about the results. I hate this. I expect a little help in January and I hope I will do better than.

Weird thing...creation is a little like sex...you understand how much you need it only if you are deprived of it for a while.

Music for my soul

I am listening right now to a romanian artist, Pavel Stratan. And it feels quite nice listening to his lyrics.

He sings like he is talking soul to soul. He sings about childhood, about his father, about future, about past. Trying to find out more about him, i have stumbled across his site : http://www.pavelstratan.com/ (kinda lousy, don't you think?). Yet the music is great.

My first post

So, I have created my first blog and i am writing my first post.

I am planning to write about webdesign, graphic design, from a personal point of view. I want to express my likes and dislikes, and interact with people interested in the same things as me.
